Emily trained as an apprentice under Master Five-Element Acupuncturist, fertility expert and author, Gerad Kite, of the renowned Kite Clinic in London.
Five-Element Acupuncture is a very ancient and holistic form of Chinese healthcare, traditionally passed down from Master to Student over thousands of years, and brought to the West by acupuncture pioneer J. R. Worsley. It aims to isolate and correct the root cause of any illness or complaint by restoring balance in the body, in turn helping the body to heal itself and return to good health.
Regular treatment should also help the patient to feel more ‘at home’ in their own skin, and encourage them to make the necessary changes to live life to the full. Emily decided to take on this dedicated and intensive form of study after experiencing acupuncture’s powerful impact on her health and life in general.
She spends time really getting to know each patient and their complaints, and tailors treatment especially to their individual needs.
Along with being popular with those who have not responded to conventional forms of treatment, Five-Element Acupuncture can also be extremely useful for patients wishing to augment Western medicine.
