Mindfulness

Mindulness

The cultivation of mindfulness comes from the heart of Buddhist meditation. It has been practised and developed over the last 2,500 years in many Asian countries but today it’s practise is wide spread and often non-spiritual. Mindfulness is simply a particular way of paying attention on purpose – of looking deeply inside yourself, without judging. It is a powerful and effective practise for healing and self-understanding. It is a modern mental skill that can be useful in the workplace, at home, whilst eating, sleeping… in fact it can be integrated into all areas of your life. Mindfulness combines meditation and mindful activities that strengthen your focus and concentration whilst being ‘in the present moment’. Allowing you to boost your resilience to stress and illness and to enjoy feeling more calm and positive in your life.

Catch Your Breath - Mindfulness Course

Catch Your Breath is an eight-week course suitable for complete beginners and seasoned meditators alike. Over the eight weeks we will go on a journey that will support you to integrate mindfulness into your life in a pragmatic and practical way. This will give you techniques to evolve your relationship with your thoughts and emotions, increasing your focus, enhancing your relationships with others and supporting you to lead a happier life.

Each week we will cover a specific theme, complete mindfulness experiments together, cover the theory and create your bespoke plan detailing the practices that you will take forward with you.
