Reopening during Covid-19

I hope that you and your loved ones have managed to stay safe and well during this very testing time. Life has changed for us all over the past few months and we have been busy during our period of temporary closure, trying to ensure that we are well prepared for when we re-open our doors. We are therefore delighted to inform you that from the 6th July we will be offering limited services but without reception support. We hope that reception will re-open in August along with all of our other treatments and services.

We are looking forward to seeing you all and no doubt many of you are keen to get in as soon as possible for your health and well-being care. The most important thing is client safety and that is why we have spent the period of closure, re-decorating and deep cleaning the clinic, as well as introducing the following measures to keep our clients and staff SAFER than ever.

The clinic has always been an exceptionally clean and safe environment. However, we have reviewed our standard protocol and in light of Covid-19, have looked at ways in which we can improve. With this in mind, we have placed a touch-less hand sanitiser at the entrance of the clinic and respectfully request that you sanitise your hands before entering and only enter the clinic wearing a mask.

The First Steps

The clinic will reopen with limited services on the 6th July. Our on line booking system is now open and we ask that you only come in to the clinic if you have an appointment.

We will be prioritising counselling services and those touch therapy treatments where clients are suffering from pain or discomfort.

As much as we would love to offer massage and beauty services, the Government has not yet released any guidelines or policies on how these treatments can be carried out safely. However, we will keep you updated as we know more.

Social Distancing

As we need to ensure that social distancing is followed where ever possible, we need to limit the number of clients in the clinic and increase the time in between each treatment. This will ensure that there is enough time between each client to thoroughly clean each treatment space. It will also reduce the number of clients we can see in any one day.

Making an Appointment

Please do not come to the clinic to arrange an appointment as for the time being the front door will be locked. We hope to resume our usual reception services during the month of August. Please use our website to arrange your appointments using our online booking system.

Once you have booked an appointment via our website, you will be sent an on line COVID-19 Health Questionnaire. You will also be contacted by your practitioner prior to your appointment, as you will need to answer some questions about your forthcoming treatment. If you currently have symptoms of Covid-19, or you are self isolating because someone in your household has symptoms of Covid-19, your practitioner will not be able to offer you an appointment. Otherwise, your appointment time will be confirmed by your practitioner.

On the Day of your Appointment

If the weather is pleasant, we have a lovely oak bench outside the clinic, where you are welcome to sit and wait to be called in. If it is raining, please shelter under the bris- Soleil. The practice door will be locked but your practitioner will try their best not to keep you waiting. For this reason it is best to arrive on time..neither too early or too late!

Please make sure, just in case, that you have your mobile phone with you and your practitioner will come and meet you at the door. Please use the touch-less hand sanitiser before entering the clinic and do wear your own mask in to the clinic. Please keep belongings to a minimum and we kindly request that you are well hydrated and have used the bathroom before your visit. As much as possible, we would like to restrict the use of our washroom.

Please attend alone, but if you need to bring a carer, they can assist you into the building but they will then have to wait outside.

Your practitioner will repeat the Covid-19 screening questions and take your temperature. If you have a temperature over 37.8C or you have answered questions indicating you may have or live with someone who has symptoms, we will not be able to continue with the appointment.

After your Appointment

After your treatment session and if needed, your practitioner will book you another appointment and take payment using cards only. Your practitioner will then escort you out of the building. If there is an issue with your future appointment, then you can email to rearrange. Our procedures will be constantly reviewed to keep everyone safe.

The intention of this message is to keep you up to date and to advise you of what your HealthSpace appointments will need to be like for the immediate future.

We really can't wait to welcome you all back and whilst observing our stringent safety measures, aim to create the same warm welcome that we have always strived to deliver. On behalf of all of our team, I would like to thank you for all the countless messages of support and the patience that you have shown us during this challenging time.
